The Lodge is changing the pricing structure for talks in order to support the work and upkeep of the Bristol Lodge and help us to continue offering a strong programme of talks for you, our community.
The charge for a talk will now be £7 but will remain donation-based for seniors, students and those on low income. These contributions will be taken on entry to the building before the talk starts. We will also be able to accept card and phone payments as well as cash.
If the changes affect you, we hope you will embrace them with the greater perspective of benefit for building the Bristol Theosophical Lodge community. If you have any considerations about the changes though, please speak to a member of the committee.
Lodge opens at 6:30pm if you want to use library or have refreshments and a chat downstairs.

1st – The Significance of Dreams with Alex Heron
Alex Heron has been studying dreaming and dreamwork since the early 1990s. He is qualified in psychology, Active Dreaming and has trained extensively in shamanism and Mesoamerican dreaming practices. How can we interact with our dreams to bring more magic and beauty into our lives? In this talk, Alex will explore aspects of dreaming such as using your dreams as an oracle, Mexican dream geography, dreams and healing, ways to improve dream recall and how to deal with unpleasant dreams.
15th – Rudolf Steiner’s Christian Festivals and Skyrrid Fawr with Mandy Pullen
During the spring of 2026, Mandy was involved in a series of pilgrimages up Skyrrid Fawr (the Holy Mountain on the edge of the Black Mountains) with an intent to celebrate the Christian Festivals as propounded by Rudolf Steiner. This was inspired by a particular astrological event beginning on her birthday during the Christmas Festival in 2025 which involved working through the 12 Holy Nights with the practices of dreaming, omen walking and the Tarot. Synchronicity, augry and sheer amazement are all part of the story. Mandy has studied astrology and theosophy and is currently basing her work around these themes and the work of Rudolf Steiner.
29th – Sound Journey with Laura Jenkins
Laura Jenkins is an experienced multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and sound healer. She uses her knowledge and training with Tibetan singing bowls, frame drum and shruti box to accompany her angelic vocal tones and create beautiful, channelled sound journeys. This potent and dynamic combination create a heart opening, ethereal sacred space for healing, releasing and grounding – leaving you feeling deeply connected and lovingly held.

13th – Visionary Tarot and the Alchemy of Rejuvenation with Davide De Angelis
In this experiential talk, artist and Starman Tarot creator Davide De Angelis explores how Tarot can be used as a symbolic and intuitive tool for understanding the human body, energy and embodied consciousness. Moving beyond predictive reading, Davide works with Tarot as a living map of psyche, sensation, vitality and inner intelligence.
Best known for his creative collaborations with David Bowie and the extraordinary visual world of the Starman Tarot, Davide’s talk will invite you into a deeper relationship with your intuition, creativity and embodied awareness.
27th – Heartfulness Taster Session with Annelies and Vijaya
Come along and join Heartfulness trainers for a relaxed taster session exploring a heart centred meditation practice. Representing a global movement, this session is all about learning to listen to the heart to find inner calm, clarity, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
You will be guided through simple, practical techniques to quiet the mind and settle into the heart’s natural stillness. A unique part of this practice is Transmission (Pranahuti), a subtle energy that helps the meditation feel more dynamic, allowing a deeper level of inner peace and authenticity. Whether you have meditated for years or are just starting out, come along and give it a try!

24th – The Art of Surrender with Adrian Lee

8th – The Profound Predictions of Rudolf Steiner with John Dalton & Harp
Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), a prominent Theosophist in the early 20th century, often spoke about what would come in the late 20th and 21st centuries. He predicted that ‘The New Age’ would comprise both spiritual light and the rise of evil in anti-human technologies, endless mendacity, confusion in the sexual realm, mental illness, harmful medicine and more. In this talk, John Dalton, former manager of Rudolf Steiner Press and editor of Avalon magazine, will review Steiner’s main predictions and what he believed to be the real path of human evolution through these times with the accompaniment of Celtic harp music.
